There are two spirits who talk to us: The Lord talks to us, and the
devil talks to us. When the devil talks to you about your sins, he
says, “Now look what you have done. That is exactly your
character, and now there is no hope for you.”
It is quite different when the Lord talks to you about your sins.
Then His Holy Spirit tells us, “That was very bad what you did,
and what you said and thought. But for those sins, Jesus died on
the cross.”
